I often hear the word “moment” used to describe a portion of an arrangement where all the elements seem to come together beautifully. As floral designers, we often work to create them within arrangements, so it’s such a treat when a photographer notices them too. For the most part, when creating these inspiration collages, I simply pull together images that compliment each other—usually within a color story. I like to include architectural imagery, landscapes, style shots and always some item of nature, but never a full floral arrangement. As a floral designer I look at beautiful images of floral work quite often. At times I need a bit of a visual break—a respite of sorts. My hope is that these images will provide that for you as well.
