We've been knee deep in weddings recently and last weekend was no exception as we ventured to Albany, Texas, for the wedding of Emily and David. The wedding reception was held in a tent outside the Old Jail Art Center—a real treasure for a town the size of Albany with paintings by Modigliani and Renoir and an etching by Picasso.
Lavender bridesmaid dresses were contrasted with bouquets of deep eggplant callas and chat noir dahlias.
Pieces of the family silver collection were used for the centerpieces and filled with hydrangeas, lilac, lotus pods, dahlias, lisianthus and purple artichokes.
But my favorite arrangements of the evening had to be these babies on the cocktail tables.
