...at least in Fredericksburg. It makes perfect sense when you consider that we had our first 100˚ day in May this year. I follow a number of British florists and it seems that August is full of weddings for them. Not so here. It's really not until October that you can be somewhat assured of more moderate temperatures. I've often thought that October and April are two of the best reasons to live in Texas and it seems that the same can be said of planning weddings. All that said, this is really just an elaborate excuse for why I haven't posted recently—we've been extremely busy. I'm in awe of those who are able to photograph their work in the midst of actually creating it and then somehow find the time to twitter and blog while still getting the flowers to the church on time. I plan to work on that, but for now I will have to get by with this sole photograph taken at the beginning of a very busy October and then wait for the results from the professionals.
