I just love these niches by artists Robert and Claudia Feuge. They have used reclaimed materials to create small unique spaces. The white oak is from 200 year old Amish barns. The roofs and sides are either slate which came to our country as ballast on sailing ships in the 1700 and 1800s or handmade tiles from the roof of a Vietnamese Roman Catholic church with the image of a heart embossed on each. Robert and Claudia have made each space unique by adorning them with various found and treasured objects. While some are made of materials better suited for indoors, many can be displayed outdoors on a patio or garden wall.
