Amy Osaba is a master of the floral arts, but she began her career as a ballet dancer. This past summer I spent two days in her floral studio in Atlanta learning from a pro as she demonstrated what makes her designs so magical. Appropriately enough, my biggest takeaway was learning to let flowers dance—to use their natural shape and allow them to give arrangements movement.
Amy was so gracious with her knowledge and she has a fabulous team who helped to pull every last detail together so all went smooth as silk. The entire experience was a game changer for me—more about that in the weeks to come—but for now enjoy these photos of my creations taken by Sawyer Baird. (Hair and makeup by Claudia Mejerle Rogers and dress from The Sentimentalist.) And to see the entire story of the workshop, head on over to The Bridal Theory who featured even more images on their blog today.
