The beautiful grounds of Ma Maison were the setting for this fall inspired photo shoot with Apryl Ann Photography and Birds of a Feather Events recently featured in Adorn Magazine's debut issue. The sage green of the antique French gazebo combined with the golden tones of the fall grasses were the starting point for this muted, almost muddy color palette. Garden roses were a natural as their loosely unfolding petals capture the abundance of the season.
Wendy of Birds of a Feather Events mixed vintage glassware and candlesticks with modern plates and flatware and finished off the table with dusty blue tapers.
La Tavola's jade velvet table linens provided just the right pop of color needed to set off the muted palette of flowers chosen to compliment the natural surroundings. Creamy Caramel Antike garden roses combined with terra cotta lisianthus, Cafe au Lait dahlias, golden ranunculus and blushing bride protea—all playing off the subtle changes in color found in the fall foliage of maple leaves and nandina. Chocolate cosmos with their deep color and velvety petals added just a touch of whimsy dancing above the rest with accents of ligustrum berries and montbretia pods. Plant dyed "Peony" silk ribbon by Silk and Willow finishes off the bouquet beautifully.
Katie of Kiss by Katie did a masterful job with hair and makeup.
All came together to blend beautifully with the fall field of Texas grasses.
