When given time between weddings, I try to take time to breathe and immerse myself in beauty. These images help me to do just that—hopefully they will do the same for you.

Leah had always dreamed of a wedding full of southern charm, so Kendall Plantation was a perfect fit. And it didn't hurt that one of her best friends and bridesmaids is fine art photographer Kayla Parker. Style Me Pretty picked up on both of these factors and featured her lovely wedding full of carefully curated details by Melanie of Mayhar Design.
For the floral design, we used all the lush blooms available—peonies, garden roses and ranunculus—along with the ever favorite hellebores and foraged English ivy to evoke the feel of a southern romance.
And for her bouquet, we gave her all blooms with just a hint of hellebores which were picked up again in the boutonnieres.
The back lawn of Kendall Plantation provided a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony followed by a reception in the ballroom where they entered down a grand staircase flanked with candles and more flowers and greenery.
One of the best details of the day, were hand made wedding cake cookies made by Leah's mother and placed at each guests' seat.
Congratulations to the happy couple!!
