This image gets me every time because it is most likely the only time my flowers will be paired with Kris Kristopherson.
Travaasa of Austin was the setting last October for an event packed weekend where family and friends joined Felicia and Gideon to celebrate their marriage.
One of my favorite things about this wedding was how the couple's priorities were so evident—their marriage, faith and family were at the forefront of the celebration weekend.
The bride and groom had a special part in creating the escort wall as Gideon collected native blooms and leaves from the family ranch, hand painting each and attaching them to cards with calligraphied names.
Felicia's bouquet consisted of White Cloud garden roses paired with the incredible Pieter B roses and finished off with Antique Gold ribbon by Silk and Willow. The remaining florals incorporated the beautiful colors of fall foliage along with flowers in ivory, buttercream and rich fall shades of rust and burgundy.
A highlight of the Travaasa property is the infinity pool overlooking Lake Travis where the cocktail hour was held.
Afterwards dinner was served on a terrace with gorgeous overarching live oak trees.
Here guests enjoyed dinner and music as the sun set and candles began to glow. Many congratulations to these two!
With a color palette of ivory and shades of green accented with golden brown, the tables were set with striped linens. The flowers included ivory garden roses, foxglove, ranunculus and sumac blossoms along with green hellebores and curling tendrils of wisteria with native river grass blossoms serving as accents.
Bronze orchids were added to the bouquet along with plant dyed "Blushing Coral" silk ribbon by Silk and Willow.
Newlyweds Derek and Emily graciously served as models while braving the Texas heat.
And a bit of behind the scenes action with Melanie styling and students practicing their skills.
